When you’re in a bathroom, you aren’t just dealing with a chill. You’re fighting that heavy, stagnant steam that clings to everything. If you don’t get rid of it, you’re basically inviting mold to move in and set up shop.
The trick with infrared heat
Here is the thing: most heaters just try to warm up the air. But we use short-wave infrared (SWIR) emitters. Instead of wasting time on the air, these go straight for the surfaces. Built for the chaos
You can’t just slap a regular lamp in a shower zone and hope for the best. Steam and electricity are a nightmare pairing. That’s why we use IP-rated waterproof housings to keep the internals dry. And the glass? We use high-grade quartz. Why? Because these things go from room temperature to 500°C in a heartbeat. Cheap glass would just shatter. Quartz can take that kind of thermal shock without breaking a sweat.
Finding the sweet spot
There is a bit of a balancing act here. High-wattage lamps are great because they dry the room fast, but they put out a lot of intense heat. If you mount them too low, you’re going to feel like you’re standing under a heat gun. Too high, and you lose that surface-drying magic that stops the mold. It’s all about the placement. Plus, if you want the best results, pair the lamp with a simple exhaust fan. The lamp dries the walls, the fan pulls the damp air out, and you’re done. It’s a way easier way to keep things dry than lugging a giant dehumidifier into your bathroom.
