If you want to make sure everything stays insulated and safe, you have to obsess over the materials and how the wires are sealed.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;The battle against moisture&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Here&amp;rsquo;s the thing: water vapor loves to carry electricity. If that steam finds its way into a lamp socket, you&amp;rsquo;re looking at a current leak or, worse, a total short.&#xA;That&amp;rsquo;s why we stick with high-temp ceramic insulators and silicone seals at the contact points. It keeps the moisture out. The goal is to keep that insulation resistance high, even when the whole room feels like a sauna.&#xA;We usually go for IPX4 or IPX5 rated housings.
